celebrated 2 friends’ birthday at wong kok char chan teng in bugis junction. the place was spacious and brightly lit. quite comfortable as a dining place. the price of the food range anything from $6.90 to around $18.
beef horfun. ($7.30) the plate was sure big. was quite fragrant but i couldnt really finish the whole plate.somehow it was nice on the 1st few bites but i got sick of it. perhaps the gravy was too much.
yang zhou fried rice ($6.90).quite a nice dish with a lot of ingredients that went in. taste was just right.
mango sago (6.20) the mango was sweet but i dun think its made of solid puree. the ice was a tad too much making it a bit diluted at the end. a bit too expensive for its price.
since it was my friend’s birthday, we got a complimentary “giant teh bing” (iced milk tea) when we showed the waitress the ic. you just need a min of 6 people and min purchase of $30 to get the drink. a lot of tourists came over to take photos with it. quite a memorable experience if you hadnt tried it before.
quite a nice place to chill out with friends but the food is so-so.. do go there to celebrate birthdays though!

Haven't been to this branch ever since it opened. We've only patronized its branch at JB City Sq. First impression, the place is clean and bright. 2nd, the serving crew doesn't have much expressions. 3rd, the environment is great for a lazy afternoon outing with a few friends.
Ordered: Lime/Lemon Ginger fizzy drink, chocolate drink, mixed grill set, Spaghetti with Portuguese cheese sauce and mini chicken ham sausage. Total: $58
Food tasted better than the JB branch and in greater portion. However, the color of the dishes doesn't look that great. I've tried the beef portion of the mixed grill and its a tad too salty. We love the chicken sausage dish and the lime/lemon ginger drink.
