Talk about Zouk..
Who could ever forget about the forever famous "MAMBO NIGHT?"
We basically grow up together with it.. Whenever it's Wednesday night, friends will be calling up each other to meet at Copethrone Hotel Taxi Stand...
The whole night filled with retro songs, very "ON" crowd and of course not to be missed dance and action by the Mambo King.. Tell me who could forget about all these?
Zouk never fails to make our growing up days a little more excited and colourful.

I had a terrifying experience at Zouk once. They had an Xbox event a couple of years back and my colleague had tixs, so a total of 4 of us went together. The thing that I don't like about Zouk is the steps inside, it's virtually so small you have to walk on tiptoe to get up and down. What made it even more terrifying is the fact that there were so many people crowding and posing on the steps that we had to make our way down without any handrail to guide us. And the worst part? I nearly slipped down the stairs and fell if my friends haven't grabbed hold of me in time. Music and crowd wise, it's good, brains and etiquette wise for the patrons, I'm giving it a thumbs down for the slip on the stairs!!

Love Wednesday night, most DJ nights and best of all, Readyset Glo sessions!! Mambo, dig the free entry for ladies although I'm privileged to enter free every other nights. I would give 5 stars for Zouk, if not for the drastic change of the mambo music. It is not the same old school retro that most might expect. They had drafted in some of the popular pop songs as to appeal more to the younger zoukers.
Drinks are still as good, never will you get a diluted beer or what other clubs might offer when you are in Zouk. Friday is the night to hit Phuture, even though you have to be shuffling to and fro inside. I guess it's the Zouk charm, the ambience and the people never fails to make me report there every week, without fail.
